The first thing to consider is to be familiar with your client's business goals and objectives. Learn how they envisioned their company in the succeeding years. Fully understand what their missions are including their goals needed to accomplish.
When you finally knew everything about the client that you are going to work with, you can now start providing service. Hence, a proper understanding of everything about your client would give you ideas on how to handle them. Also, you would be able to manage them properly because you understood everything about them.
Remember, you cannot give what you do not have. In other words, you cannot provide a better service that would satisfy your customer if you do not have the sufficient knowledge to do so.

Another thing to do is establish a strong bond between your clients. What you need from them is indeed compensation for the services that you are going to provide them.
